What are Solo Ads?
what are solo ads?
Internet marketing is growing by leaps and bounds. People left from right are coming to the internet to find ways to make money online, and build an online business.
As we all get to find out, that building a solid internet business takes time and most importantly it takes having a solid system that will bring you money as you sleep from your online business.
It took me a while to figure all this out, but eventually I figured it out.
What I mean is I figured out that if I was going to build a solid internet business, then I would most importantly need to build an email list.
Now an email list is basically collecting people’s emails and adding them to your list in your auto responder.
The best way to build a good email list really fast is through Solo Ads. I’ve seen this first hand better yet I’ve built a brand new list in a really short period of time just from utilizing solo ads.

What are Solo Ads?
Or what is a solo ad as you would put it.
Basically in really simple terms a “Solo Ad” is generally when you pay a person to email their email list your ad with a link back to your squeeze page, lead capture page, opt-in page, sales page, or offer page in the same niche market.
- What are Ad Swaps?
Now I know you are asking how we went from solo ads to ad swaps; but anytime you hear solo ads you will certainly hear ad swaps as well, they are twins they go together.
Anyways an “Ad Swap” is almost the same thing as a solo ad but the only difference is with an ad swap you are not paying the person to email your ad to their email list; with and ad swap you are actually trading and exchanging with the person with the person.
What is the difference between solo ads and ad swaps?
Well it’s pretty obvious.
Solo Ad= Cash/Money and Ad Swap= Exchange/Trade
With a solo ad you are paying the person with your own money to email your ad to their email list.
With an Ad Swap you are exchanging or trading with the person; in simple terms it means you have an email list where you are willing to email their ad to your email list for free in return for a certain amount of clicks or visits to their ad, and in return they are willing to do the same thing for you.
- For Example:
You have a list 100 people who are interested in losing weight, and also the other person has an email list of 100 people who are interested in losing weight; so you guys come together and agree to email each other’s email list with a linkback to each other’s ad in the email.
To continue both you guys decide that you will send at least 30 clicks to each other’s in the in the ad swap mailing.
Both you guys are making a promise to each other that, the ad you send or email out will get at least 30 clicks from the people in the email list.
So the whole with an adswap is it’s all about exchanging and trading.
I want you to always remember one very important thing is that you can get great results from both solo ads and ad swaps.
For solo ads it all depends on how much money you pay the more money you pay; as a result the more clicks you will to your ad, the more leads you will get and the more sales you will get.
For ad swaps the better the quality of the email list, the more responsive the email list is; as a result the more clicks, leads, and sales you will generate.
How to build a good responsive email list with solo ads?
As you already know there are some things you will need. You will need a hosting account, domain name, autoresponder, and you will need what’s called a squeeze page or a lead capture page.
First thing you will need to do is go to hostgator.com and get yourself a hosting account; I recommend you get their “baby plan” hosting package plan it’s the best.
Second thing you will need is a domain name( a domain name is the name or address of your website such as www.yourwebsite.com) and you can also register your domain name with hosting website like hostgator, but the best place to buy great cheap domain names is namecheap.com.
Third thing you will need is an autoresponder. The autoresponder is where all the emails you collect will be stored; this is one of the most important resources in building your email list with solo ads. I recommend that you use aweber for your autoresponder. Aweber is the absolute best autoresponder.
Fourth thing you will need is a squeeze page, go to google and type in “free squeeze page templates” in the search bar, once you type that you will get a bunch of results giving you options and places to get free squeeze page templates.
You will also get options where you can buy squeeze page templates or services if you want to buy it instead of getting a free one.
Fifth and last thing you will need is what’s called a list magnet. A list magnet is something that you give out for free in your squeeze page in return for people to put their emails in to get your free offer. So you you see the relationship you give something for free in return to get the person’s email address
Important Points:
Ok so you’ve got your domain name, hosting account, and autoresponder; now it comes to the point where you are creating squeeze page.
When creating your squeeze page it’s important to create a solid catchy headline that’s going to entice people to put their emails in your squeeze page when you send out your solo ad.

-Benefits (offer a great valuable lead magnet, a free offer as you know it)
-Call to Action (you will tell them to enter their name and email)
-Opt-in Form (this is where they will be putting in their emails)
Here is a great example of a real good quality squeeze page. This squeeze page is actually one of my squeeze pages for one of my products I’m currently promoting, it’s a paid survey product in the jobs niche market. This paid surveys product has a gravity of nearly 300 on clickbank
